This guide will include the type of content to share (i.e. attractive content), how to customize content for each platform (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) and the kind of visuals that will increase engagement.

  • Establishing best social media practices will streamline your social workflow and make it easier (and more enjoyable) to interact with your community. Social media is a fantastic way to listen to your audience and understand what they really want, so putting best practices in place will give you better insights into your ideal customer.

Solution: Using built-in analytical tools like Instagram's and Facebook's insights tracker, I will map out your audience's activity and demographics by platform. I will also uncover the engagement levels of your top-performing posts. All of this will be packaged in a document that outlines key social-sharing tactics: when to publish content, on which platform to post updates and how to optimize content for each platform.

  • Measuring engagement brings your social media strategy full circle. The last thing you want to do is to share your carefully-crafted content on social and not track its performance. During this analysis phase, you can really listen to your community and see what resonated the most with them. 

Solution: Based on metrics you may already be tracking, I will set up and introduce you to other engagement tools that provide great insights into your social followers. Some are free, like Google Analytics and Instagram's built-in insights, and some are paid, like Hootsuite and Buffer. Once everything is set up, I will create a baseline report that shows how your social posts are currently performing and then I will demonstrate how to pull these metrics yourself.
